Girl
Scouts of Heritage Trails volunteers are women
and men from diverse backgrounds, professions and interests.
You don’t kneed a Girl Scout background or even a girl
in your family to join. We welcome all adults who support
our mission and accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
All volunteers are asked to follow both the National
Girl Scout Policies and our council’s Volunteer Policies,
Practices and Standards. Girl Scouts of Heritage Trails
provides training and ongoing support for all volunteers
and flexible positions are available to suit every schedule
and interest. Don’t see a volunteer position that fits,
contact us and we will try to “customize” a volunteer
position for you.
Troop Leaders/Co-Leaders/Group Coordinators work
directly with girls on an ongoing basis and help them to
plan and implement a variety of program activities.
Cookie or Fall Product Sales Chairs Coordinates
distribution of sales materials to all troops in a community.
Collects all completed paperwork and money/deposits and
returns to council office. Trains all Girl Scout leaders
about the sales programs.
Cookie Booth Sales Coordinators Assists
troops in locating places to hold booth sales in their
communities. Assists troops in picking up extra cookies
for booth sales.
Product Sales Committee Members Adults
serve on a committee to assist in the selection of products,
provide input on pricing, delivery systems, helps with
processing paperwork at the end of each sale program.
Fund Development Volunteers Partner
with other adults to help raise funds for Girl Scouting
through a wide range of development activities.
Board Members/Board Committee members Share
your experience and expertise in a wide range of areas
including finance, property, fund development and strategic
planning.
